The VV4MC project was present in the 1st edition of the UC Open Week!

From April 27 to 29, 2023, the University Stadium hosted the 1st edition of the UC Open Week, with the purpose of presenting the educational offer, the research aspect, the activities outside the classroom, the social support, the employability and the mobility programs existing in the UC.

The event was open not only to high school students but also to the adult population interested in pursuing studies in higher education.

The VV4MC project was present, on November 9, 2022, at the Convento de São Francisco, in Coimbra, at the event INOVAÇÃO@UC, in a prominent position with the face shield on display, where participants had the unique chance to meet with key national and international stakeholders from the medical, space and other industries.

ADAI hires researcher to participate in the project

The Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics (ADAI) has called for a research grant [ref. VV4MC/ADAI-BI5] within the scope of the VV4MC project – A new type of ventilated visor for medical care” (CENTRO-01-0145-FEDER-181248).

1st plenary meeting - Kick-off meeting

The Kick-off meeting of the VV4MC project took place on July 28, 2022, to discuss a new type of ventilated viewer for medical care to be financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the Operational Program CENTRO2020 of Portugal 2020. This meeting marked the start of the work proposed in the application. The event took place in an online format, with the participation of all the co-promoters involved in the consortium.
